Spanish Teacher
  • Planned and implemented instruction in Spanish II classes
  • Assessed and documented student achievement
  • Taught technology integration workshops for World Languages department
  
University of Georgia Educational Technology Training Center - 7/03 to 7/05
Instructional Program Specialist
  • Taught InTech (Integrating Technology in the Student Centered Classroom) classes to in-service and pre-service K-12 teachers and paraprofessionals
  • Developed and taught classes such as PowerPoint Games, Movie Maker in the Classroom, Microsoft Office Classroom Applications, and Using Inspiration to Create Graphic Organizers to local school technology coordinators and in-service teachers
  • Conducted staff development workshops at Commerce Elementary School and Greene County Schools to help teachers use technology to implement the new Georgia Performance Standards
  • Served as liaison between Georgia Department of Education and local school districts by assisting local adminstrators with Adequate Yearly Progress data analysis and by implementing local GPS training workshops
