Thank you for visiting my website and you are on my personal page! This is a picture of me and my husband in traditional Korean wedding dress and if you roll your mouse over to the picture you'll see another picture of us...at our wedding.
Between work and school, we usually don't find much time to do anything else. He also works full-time as a bus driver at the University of Georgia and is pursuing his Masters degree in Public Administration at the same time. As you can imagine, my husband and I are usually very busy which means dishes are piled up, house is dusty, laundries are barely done in time etc. We can hardly keep up with our two dogs. No matter how much I like being a student – I know my husband doesn't, sometimes I just want to get out of it and enjoy other aspects of my life.
Beside work and school, we are active churching-going people – my husband sings in the praise team, he is also a church photographer (amateur) and I do PowerPoint. Both my husband and I are looking forward to getting more involved in our church ministry and other things in the near future, that is, whenever we “finish” school.
When I have a little bit more time, I would like to become a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) in Athens-Oconee CASA. Since I started working for the Center and HFGIS, I discovered my strong interests in Children and Family especially their behavioral issues in relations to social aspects, and impacts to success in education. In order to become a volunteer advocate, there is an attendance requirement for a full training session of over 40 hours in total. If anyone is interested in this program, please visit their website at http://www.athensoconeecasa.org or click on their logo on this page.
I'm a proud volunteer of CharityFocus.org although I just joined the team.
