    Georgia 2000” is GIS based web-application integrating census data and displaying the data the way that you wish to. You can click on areas on the Map and select a type of data you would like to see and then it will load a report based on what you select. For instance, if you select all public schools in GA, it will display them on the map or list them on a report window. If you click on Clarke county area on the map and then select populations for year 2000, then it will display populations in Clarke county area for year 2000 by races.

    I was mainly responsible for testing and trouble-shooting the Georgia2000 website as well as maintaining mailing database (MS-Access) for the Chamber of Commerce in Georgia.

    Led the project of the Ministry of Information and Communication as a global client/server applications programmer. For this Project, I developed mainly the electronic mail system. This system is for communication between someone who has a PC and someone who does not have a PC, using PC and Network or the Internet.

    Analyzed, designed, developed and tested the electronic mail system using ERWin, Delphi3.0 (based on Windows95), Pro*C (based on Novell Netware), Oracle (with the SQL) on Sun Sparc Server based on Unix OS

    BaekDuSan Computer System (Cheongju, ChungBuk, Korea)

    Joined in the Project of the KT (Korea Telecommunications) and the executive department of medical service insurance as an applications programmer, and developed and maintained the application using Visual Basic (in the base of Windows95), Novell Netware and Oracle.

    My partner and I designed, developed and enhanced the Project to administer a cable broadcast management system. We wrote the program with Delphi and Pascal, and used Oracle in the base of Sun Solaris (UNIX).

    Joined in the Project to perform an automatic system of SamHo Circulation Business Co., Ltd., where I aided and designed and implemented. We used C++ (in the base of DOS), Visual Basic (in the base of Windows3.x), and Oracle (in the base of UNIX).

    Taught the Internet, MS-Office and Visual Basic to employees of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. as an instructor enrolled in BaekDuSan Computer Academy under BaekDuSan Computer System.

    Taught Visual Basic in charge of nationwide computerization of the Korea National Teachers' University, Re-education program as an instructor enrolled in BaekDuSan Computer Academy under BaekDuSan Computer System.

  2. August 2000 ~ December 2000,
    Student Assistant (part-time student position)
    The Plant Center (the Pratt Lab) in Plant Science, the University of Georgia

    The main project of the lab is entire DNA sequencing of Sorghum and makes libraries of the sequences using own database system. Operated and maintained the DNA database system, and also joined and assisted principal lab experiments.

  3. August 1991 ~ January 1994,

    Biochemistry and Plant Physiology Lab in Biology,
    the ChungBuk National University (Cheongju, ChungBuk, Korea)

    This laboratory conducts researches to improve growth rate of plants, which include some useful medical substances, by agriculture and DNA and RNA manipulation.

    Operated and assisted the principle lab experiments, cultured plant cells infected by bacteria containing inserts (Agriculture), and optimized medium and other environments (temperature, light etc) to improve the medical substance production rates.
