These are the test dates for the current and coming semesters:

Spring Semester 2008:  Tuesday, April 22 is being held as a possible test date at this point.

Some info regarding belt tests:

Regular belt tests for the club are held once a semester, generally during the last week of academic classes.  All tests up to red belt level are given on the same evening.  The following class is promotions night, which is typically held on the last Tuesday or Thursday before Reading Day.  Promotions night is always the last meeting of the term, as the club is not formally active during finals.

Black belt tests occur every year or five and, when applicable, are usually scheduled for the Sunday prior to the regular belt test.  Black belt tests are special events and often exceed three hours in length; thus they preempt the normal Sunday class.

If illness, emergency, or academic scheduling conflicts force you to miss a regular belt test, it can often be made up early in the following semester.  Arrangements for these special tests are handled directly by Master Couch.  Similarly, if you test (and pass) but must miss promotions night, your belt will be presented to you by one of the instructors at the next available opportunity.  (You'll miss a certain amount of fanfare this way, but the promotion is just as legitimate.)

The test dates listed above are referred to as either projected / possible or confirmed.  Projected test dates are the most likely dates according to the academic calendar, but have not been formally verified by Master Couch.  However, you may typically rely on the projected dates.

As always, you can check out the tests and forms page for the requirements for your next belt test.
