Some all ceramic restorations are crowns (caps) and bridges that are used to give a patient tooth functionality that they are lacking. These restorations greatly contribute to the patient’s overall health benefit as well as the esthetic appeal.

Am I a candidate for these restorations?

If you have a fractured anterior tooth, you are potentially a great candidate. Keep in mind though, that there are many factors that your general dentist must consider before restoring your mouth with these restorations. Some are: Is there an adequate amount of tooth structure available for the crown to be inserted on? How is the patient’s jaw and bite positioning? Does this patient clinch his/her teeth at night?
