 About Us

The Retail-Foodservice Food Safety Consortium was formed as a result of an identified need for greater cooperation between the various stakeholders related to retail-foodservice food safety.  The Consortium functions to network academic research and outreach professionals with the Retail-foodservice industry.  The Consortium also networks several associations that address Food Safety: IFT Extension and Outreach Div., IFT Foodservice Div., IFT Food Microbiology Div., AFDO, CFP, NEHA, RCA, NRA-Educational Foundation, and others.
 
The Consortium is governed by an Executive Committee, an Operations Committee, and a Director.  The By-laws of the Consortium can be found here (Adobe pdf).
