am a doctoral candidate in the Department
of Anthropology at the University of Georgia.
My research and teaching interests include archaeology of the southeastern
United States, zooarchaeology, subsistence/economic studies, environmental
archaeology, historical ecology, public archaeology, and museum studies.
I am also affiliated with the Georgia
Museum of Natural History, Zooarchaeology
Laboratory where I conducted my dissertation research. My dissertation
focuses on regional patterns of animal use in the Central Mississippi Valley
during the Woodland and Mississippian periods. Please take a moment to learn
