A less Dangerous Way

A Public Outcry

Countertops

Death is Visiting My Street

On the subject of Hearing, then Prophecy

The Principle of Scarcity

Impatience

Liquid Leash

Yesterday the Trifle

Obtuse

Send Me

The Countenance of Failure

The Confidence of a Cow

I see my Daughter

Early Flower Late Love

Stupor

"A less Dangerous Way"

I slipped through the spaces in the air
Every other movement scattered
In front of me, random matters
Warnings posted, to me caution advised
I felt the fear rise

Normally aware but not so burdened
This time the guidance was direct and certain
Proceed as you would without delay
When you start out is not related today
To your problem

Your starting point normally counts
Tragedies wait in random amounts
The place in time, the patterns you find
But today was different

Random matters laid aside
Watching waiting at every side
I know the difference in right and wrong
There was nothing random going on

To protect those who ventured with me
I saw everything I know how to see
Molecules move well in advance
For dangerous thinkers they do a different dance

A gift it is to identify
First the warning then the cry
So negotiate carefully I did that day
I simply chose a less dangerous way

Every turn then every moment
Demanded of me cautious torment
Then random motion came back to me
And in one moment set me free
