Liquid leash

Please let go that leash from me
I知 free for a price you will see
I知 free for a fee just today
We値l figure out how much this way

Let痴 negotiate a fair exchange
Your fluid thoughts for freedoms stage
Your fluid thoughts for freedom痴 stage

I値l freely give you all I have
I値l trade you flowing streams of sand
For solid ground and arms of steel
Flowing around the liquid wheel

Standing by I値l watch while you
Reflect to me what I can do
Please Please release that liquid leash
That will make the way complete
Then everything I could never do
Will close the circle back to you

I値l give you force you say which way
You say when what -where- what day
I値l give you all it is I have
We値l ride that flowing stream of sand

The fluid light this freedom brings
Ensures the circles steel heart rings
And once engaged in the final plan
Makes the steel band ring on my outstretched hand

Are you "co-dependent?"
What a worn out term.
This is the first poem that I wrote, in July of 2001, so I thought I would save it.
