FELLOWS' E-PORTFOLIO
During the Spring of 2002,because I enrolled in EDIT 2000, I learned a great deal about technology in the classroom. There were many projects that we did throughout the semester that helped me in learning about technology. Below is a listing of each assignment and attached to each is how exactly the assignment assisted me.

Search Project - My web search project
is about using search engines to find different websites of my interest.
I found this project to be very beneficial in learning how to find different
websites that I may some day need to use.
Word Processing Project - For the word processing project we had to design a document using word processor. I decided to do a newspaper article about a make believe baseball championship. The project taught me how to do many different actions with processor that I never would have figured out. Draw/Paint Project - For this project we had to design a picture using Apple Works. I designed my image of the perfect classroom. I found many tools useful during this project that I most likely will use again later in life. PowerPoint Presentation PowerPoint Presentation (downloadable)- The PowerPoint presentation was designed by using Microsoft PowerPoint. This software was very easy to work with. Before I looked at the software, I thought that designing a presentation would take hours. However, once I looked at the software I was done in no time. 2 reflections - These are my reflections on a couple of the above projects. I briefly describe how the work relates to my future job of becoming a teacher. I also describe the software that I used and in which manner I used it. Final Project - For the final project once again we got to choose what we wanted to do. I decided to see what I can learn from a parking lot. I looked at the color of cars in a parking lot on two different days at the same time. I then put the information into a slideshow, the rest is details.... 5 Paragraph Essay - This essay sums up exactly what I learned in EDIT 2000. It shows how the integration of technology in the classroom is making the lives of both students and teachers a lot easier. |
