My name is Jen Shaffer. I am a PhD student in ecological anthropology at the University of Georgia.

My research interests are historical ecology, landscape change, subsistence systems, resource use decision-making and social-ecological linkages.

My dissertation research project focuses on the relationships between subsistence resource systems, plant biodiversity, and landscape change in Southern Mozambique.
