1. Choose your role

Your group must first decide on the ROLE each of you will play during this project. There are four choices, one for each person. When you are finished, you may click here to go to the next step.

Timekeeper- This person should have a watch, or have access to a clock.  This person needs to politely ask the group to move on without being pushy. Keep the group on task and at a good pace. Don't let anyone spend too much time on the little things. Keep it moving! You need to create a log of how long it took you to complete each task! Recorder- This person should have good reading and comprehension skills. This person should also have good note-taking skills. You need to record the information required for each question. Make a separate category extra information you will use in your presentation to make it more interesting. Try to keep the information organized and well written so it can be easily understood.  Navigator- This person should have good computer and internet research skills.  They should be willing to "drive" where the group wants to go, and not where he/she wants to go. This person should be also be able to find other sites that will help their presentation. Careful! Don't wander off onto any bad sites, or sites that don't have anything to do with our project. Presenter- This person should be a good speaker. They should also be able to work with the Recorder to prepare the information in a clear way that is short and to the point. They will ultimately be responsible for their group's presentation.
