| Cat intake begins when the animals arrive at the sanctuary. Intake is completed when the animals have been examined, vaccinated, treated for any immediate problems and housed in crates in one of the cat buildings. The intake process also includes the recording of data about the animal, both on paper and in an electronic database. |
