Here's a back-of-the-envelope map of the area near Meridian Dock ("The Hill"), from which the Sapelo ferry (the "Anne Marie") departs. Note that I95 exits have been relabeled: 11 = 58; 10 = 49. Go here for an alternative map and detailed instructions for visitors. Contact info for the Holiday Inn Express at exit 10 of I95 near Darien: phone, 912-437-5373; for the Hampton Inn, 912-437-5558. The outlet mall near HI Express has a Rocky Mountain Chocolate store, a Bass outlet, a Nike outlet, a Jockey outlet, and more. There are several eateries in this vicinity, including a new barbecue place across from the Hampton, Waffle House, Burger King, Pizza Inn, KFC, etc., and Ruby Tuesday's is coming to the Outlet Mall. Bluestein's is the grocery store that delivers groceries to the ferry on Wednesdays. UPDATE: Piggly Wiggly has bought out Bluestein's and closed it -- The Pig is located across the street and a little north of the old Bluestein's store. Note that beer is not sold in McIntosh County on Sundays. The ferry runs as follows:
