The Turkey Fountain sits right in the middle of the Square, with the Main Office to the turkey's left, the Main Laboratory behind the turkey (the cupola of the Main Building is shown), the new laboratory building and long-distance-teaching facility on the turkey's right, and the apartment building (class groups and summer interns) in front of the turkey. An artesian well once fed the flowing fountain, but the aquifer pressure has fallen enough that the turkey is now dry.
