What is a PDF file?
Portable Document Format (PDF) files are another type of file. PDFs, as they are commonly called, can be read by anyone who has the Adobe Reader software program installed on their computer protects the content of files from unintended edits.

What is Adobe Reader?
This is a free software program that is downloaded from the web.

What does "DOWNLOAD" mean?
Download means to copy a computer file or software program from the Internet to your computer.

How do I download the Adobe Reader?
  1. Go to this website: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
  2. In Step 1, select your desired "LANGUAGE" and "PLATFORM," the click the DOWNLOAD button.
  3. You will be prompted to select a download location. Once selected, the download begins.
After I download the Adobe Reader, how do I install it?
  1. Find the Adobe Reader file that you downloaded from the Internet.
  2. Double-click this icon and the automated installation process will begin. If you are prompted for information, it is best to simply accept the defaults.
How do I download and read a PDF file?
Once you have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer, downloading and reading PDF files is automatic. Anytime you click on a link to a PDF file, your computer will automatically start the Reader software and let you read the PDF file.

How do I save a PDF file on my computer?
While the PDF file is open, click the "SAVE" icon on the tool bar. You will be prompted to pick a save location on your computer.










Can I print a PDF file?
While the PDFfile is open, click the "PRINT" icon on the tool bar.
